Young People can be so Beautiful Young people can be so beautiful in their generosity and idealism. Many who come to L'Arche discover that there is a power in them to do good, to help people; they can take the risk of loving; they find meaning to their lives. It is not always easy for them to forego generosity toward the many, to forego heroic acts in refugee camps or with street children or in developing countries in order to create community with just a few people with [an intellectual] handicap.
